MLB Collection at Victoria’s Secret

It was the breakup of the century when Victoria’s Secret and the NFL decided to part ways… Ok, well, maybe it was just a devastation to me. The end of an era– and actually, the beginning of Burgh Blondes. Being truly, madly, deeply (sorry, I’m a 90s baby) in love with Pittsburgh sports, this was like a knife to the heart. So, my friend, Lisa, and I set out to make our own cute Pittsburgh apparel– and so far, it’s going pretty well. Btw, if you haven’t seen our clothing yet, you must check it out. Anyway, our BB clothing got me through football Steelers season and I was so excited that so many other women loved it too!! 

Today, I visited Victoria’s Secret with Lisa and the sweet girls working there allowed us to check out the new VS MLB Collection of Pittsburgh Pirates apparel that they still had in the back. The rumor was that MLB apparel was gone too, but obviously not– we sure bought ourselves some today! I know so many of my friends go crazy over the MLB clothing so I’m doing a quick review of what’s in stock currently. Usually, there are about three waves of new releases throughout baseball season. Currently, they have long sleeve tees, jackets, light sweatshirts, and pullovers in stock. Tank tops and tees usually come a little later in the second and third waves.

Between the both of us we ended up with three shirts Pirates shirts (of course we left with a few more things in our bags)– a pullover, a zip up jacket, and a slouchy sweatshirt. My favorite is probably the slouchy sweatshirt (furthest left). It’s not quite sherpa material, but it almost looks fuzzy and is soft on the inside. At first, I thought it might be itchy, but it isn’t– it’s really comfortable.

 

The Victoria’s Secret MLB Collection is not yet available online, but spring training is just 10 days away.. so you know what that means–coming soon! <3
