Aruba 2016: a favorite pair of shades– from Charlotte Russe years ago!
It’s that time of year again– sun’s out, shade’s out. Do you have that go-to pair of sunnies? Or are you ready for some new ones? Either way, we must examine our options and be beach-ready by summer.

First, let’s talk designer. I find myself always reaching for a pair of my Ray Bans. They’re my total fav when it comes to aviator and I protect them with my life by always carrying them in a case. The flash mirrored lenses are what’s in and I love the hot pink ones. I also really like the gradient lenses that aren’t as reflective and have worn those for years before mirrored lenses were all the craze. The exact styles I wear in Ray Ban are here (flash mirrored) & here (gradient). Both are 58mm aviators.
Next, let’s talk dupes. We both love B.P. brand from Nordstrom and were excited to find out they make the cutest shades too. Ashley has the B.P. Oversized Mirrored Tortoise sunglasses. Erin has the B.P. Gloria Retro Silhouette Tortoise sunglasses. Amazon also has some great options. We’ve found some great mirrored lenses and Erin got a really cute pair of pink/gold mirrored cat eye shades by SojoS. We both got really cute Wayfarers by Retro Rewind that come in multiple colors and with different lens options (gloss, matte, polarized, smoke, etc.).

Whether you opt for the designers, dupes, or maybe even both– Summer 2017 is on its way! We strongly suggest a case no matter what sunglasses you decide on, as they’ve kept ours in amazing condition. Resist the urge to just throw them in your purse. Ray-Ban purchases definitely come with a leather case! Happy shopping for sunnies, friends!

Looks like your have had some fun, good for you!! Love the last picture, my kind of place. I like flash mirrored sunglasses the best and that you can get different colors. I also think it is important to protect your sunglasses. I always put mine in a sunglasses case of some sort.
I got my sunglasses from Ryders Eyewear. They are very nice and comfortable. I love to collect sunglasses of all designs for every dress and according to season as well.
