Evening Look for Summer & My #NSale Picks

This summer has been two things for sure– rainy and hot. We’ve experienced a lot of rain here in southwestern Pennsylvania, but also have had some awesome sunny days perfect for lounging by the pool. We’ve all been there; you just had a relaxing day working on your tan, but now you have to get ready to go out tonight. It’s still super hot out, but you’re headed to a nice place for dinner with your friends or significant other. You can always go for the cute sundress, but for the nights that you’re just not feeling it, opt for a light or colored pair of jeans with an off-the-shoulder top.

Erin and I headed into town for dinner and I wore my white jeans with a chambray off-the-shoulder top and Vince Camuto mules. It was perfect for the warm evening, but dressy enough for dinner in town. I got this top at TJMaxx, but there are a lot of similar ones out there. I’ve linked my favorites below. I encourage you to check out your local TJMaxx and Marshalls; they have a ton of off-the-shoulder tops on sale right now as they begin to make room for fall clothing (ugh.. can you believe it– already!?).

Also, if you’re not aware, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale went live today to non-cardholders, so they restocked on a ton of items. However, a lot of these items are marked way down (some more than half off) so they go really fast. In this post, I talked about my favorite leggings EVER (I’m wearing a medium in those photos). They’re high-rise so they don’t slip down and they are just SO comfortable. They’re amazing quality so I wear them under tunics and sweaters, but also to lounge around the house and work out! IMO, they’re must-haves in everyone’s closet. So many of my friends and family members are hooked on them now too! Anyway, they’re marked down from $54 to $35. I’d hurry and order those if you’re thinking about it! Secondly, if you love Vince Camuto as much as me (easily my favorite shoe brand), a lot of my favorite booties and mules are on sale too! Fell in love with these.<3 They’re still available, but on backorder. I have this pair in multiple colors and wear them all the time! One of my favorite tunics is still available in lots of colors and sizes (for now). It runs slightly large. It’s perfect with jeans or leggings because it’s nice and long. My favorite is a bright pink one I got during the spring. I really wanted this Dreamers comfy cardigan, but it’s already sold out. 🙁 I really love this! I have a few ponchos like this one that I wear to work over my BP long-sleeve tees (on sale) when it’s cold outside!
