Steelers fans, rejoice! When the worlds of tough steel and fashion come together, it’s a touchdown for fans like us. We were both lucky enough to receive the coolest fashion accessory in the mail yesterday and we are so excited about its versatility and style. This new accessory is called a “Yowie.” What’s that?! Well, the real question is, “What isn’t it?” This crazy little fashion accessory can be worn by both males and females in a variety of ways including, but not limited to, a scarf, wristband, hairband, bandana, skull cap, sleeve, or headband! We even came up with some of our own!
Better yet, this Yowie was designed by Kiya Tomlin, fashion designer and wife of Pittsburgh Steelers Head Coach, Mike Tomlin. Kiya’s fashion line, Uptown by Kiya Tomlin, is loved by women all over the United States. Her architectural, feminine clothing line is bold and different. We’re totally in love with it, especially this piece right here. Super cute, right?! Looking at her line-up of clothing, it’s easy to see her fashion sense is unrivaled. How exciting is it that she’s designed a piece just for Steelers fans?! So, how can you get your hands on one of these? It’s easy.
Every year, the Neighborhood Ford Store group, a group of 81 dealers in western Pennsylvania, southeastern Ohio, and the panhandles of Maryland and north central WV, give away a beautiful Steelers-wrapped F-150 (The Official Truck of the Pittsburgh Steelers) to one lucky Pittsburgh fan.
