My favorite part of the holidays??? Giving people gifts! Omg. I just get so excited. Then, it comes in the mail and I’m like, “Hey, your present just came. Do you want it early? No? Are you sure? Because it’s so great and… what? Wait ’til CHRISTMAS?! Why!?! Oh.. yeah. I guess you’re right. Well, we’ll just wait then. But oh my goshh. You’re going to love it so much!” LOL. Yep. 100% me. Thankfully, my friends and family members possess mad self-control.
So, since we’re getting closer to the holidays, I know many people are still freaking out over what to buy for the ladies in their lives, so I put together a little list of 12 items that cover a very wide range of prices. Hope you find a great gift that would be perfect for someone on your list– or maybe even for you!
- The Glam Glow Face Mask
I love GlamGlow products. Their face masks are truly the best. I like to use them once a week. Which one I use depends on what my skin needs on that particular day! My recommendations are YouthMud (like a 10-minute facial in a jar!), FlashMud (brightening, smoothing, exfoliating– smells like oranges!), ThirstyMud (hydrating– leave on overnight, makes the skin really smooth, and smells so good!), and SuperMud (for cleansing and clearing up problem areas). You may also really like GlamGlow’s lip exfoliating treatment and lip plumping treatment. - Apple Watch
So, I got my Apple Watch in 2015 right around when they first came out. I’ve had it for over 2 years now and I still wear it daily. At this point, I’ve gotten so used to it, it feels kind of weird when I’m out and about without it on. I do know that I keep discovering new ways to use it. Recently, I’ve been using it for my workouts (runs, walk, yoga class) to monitor my heart rate and accurately determine the amount of calories burned during the workout. It also is great for receiving notifications at a glance. I have the Sport edition (rose gold with a stone colored band), but they don’t make my exact model anymore. This one is a very similar Series 3 model. I prefer the 42mm size, as the screen is slightly larger and easier to use in my opinion. I also don’t feel that LTE is a necessary feature for my watch, as I always have my phone on me. If you are someone that goes on long distance runs, this may be a feature you would find useful. (LTE does require a monthly fee). - Erin Condren Planner
Yep, this is my #1 recommendation. You’ve heard me talk about them before. Can’t LIVE without mine now!! I use it daily and it’s just helped me stay so organized with balancing dates and deadlines at work and in my personal life. They’re 100% customizable and there’s a specific teacher planner for teachers! The LifePlanner and StudentPlanner are great for those who aren’t in the field of education. I wrote about my teacher LessonPlanner here. You can choose from so many different covers and also choose the color of the metal (mine is rose gold)! Each planner also comes with a pouch of goodies to help you get organized. Oh, and if you use my link, you get $10 off. To top it off, I just saw on the EC website that today only, you get an extra 25% off with the code CHEERS25!!! For planners to be delivered by Christmas (they’re custom-made in the US), orders must be placed by 12/16! If you’re not ordering one as a gift, now would be a great time to order one for yourself for the new year because that’s an amazing deal!! - Cute Coffee Mug
I am obsessed with Target’s coffee mugs. I swear I find a new one every time I go.. and I go a lot. LOL! They have the cutest things and they’re typically less than $6 and great quality!! These are some of my favorites offered online right now: Hello Gorgeous, Reindeer Sweater, Marble, Caffeine Queen, and Up&At’Em. Check out your local Target for their other really cute Christmas ones!!
- Extra Large Ribbon Letter Monogram Necklace
This is a classic. It’s a bit of a pricy one, but I wear mine all the time. It dresses up any outfit! I have the gold, but the rose gold and silver are also both really pretty! The necklace is very good quality. Be aware, it can take a while to ship due to the personalization. ALSO, BaubleBar is offering 25% off (that’s huge because discounts that big at BaubleBar are a rarity) until 12/10 with the code GIFT25!
- Mophie XL Power Station
I used to always use a Mophie charging case, but it could be a bit bulky. I prefer a smoother, thinner case. I have this one from Apple Store in pink sand (pale rose pink). (The case is under warranty for one year also! It would make a good gift for someone in need of a protective case.) I ended up buying a portable power station and this one has worked great for me the past two years. It holds about 3.5 full charges and is great for a day that you know you won’t be able to charge your phone much (I take mine to Steelers games, Pirates games, etc.). Plus, it’s universal, so you can use it to charge your iPad or Beats or whatever might need a little juice. Read about the best way to upgrade your iPhone in this blog post.
- Tassel Earrings
Love these statement earrings. I swear they make certain outfits look 100x better! They come in so many colors too. I have them in black and cream. I bought them in red for one of my friends with dark hair for her birthday and they looked so pretty!! Again, BaubleBar is offering 25% off (that’s huge because discounts that big at BaubleBar are a rarity) until 12/10 with the code GIFT25!
- Smart Blonde Sweatshirt
I designed this boyfriend sweatshirt with my friend Lisa on the comfiest sweatshirt known to man!! It’s currently for sale among other Pittsburgh-y clothes! Check them all out. Oh, and be sure to use the code BB25 for 25% off your purchase or FREETANK for a free tank with purchase (minimum shopping cart requirements apply). - Ugg Slippers/House Shoes
Oh my gosh, these are so warm and cozy… and they’re cute. They’re on sale at Nordstrom now for under $75 and limited sizes remain. They come in both cream and grey. I can’t wait to get home and put them on! In fact, I’m wearing mine right now!! If you don’t like having a back on your slippers, you may prefer these.
- Make-Up Case
If I’m being honest, I really want this make-up case. But a close second and more in my price range for a cosmetic case.. the one I have, this make-up case. LOL It’s really nice for traveling because it has hard sides and prevents your make-up from getting messed up/breaking! It’s also really roomy and easy to organize. I have the gold/silver one, but got the pink one as a gift for someone! It also looks really pretty on my bathroom counter! - VS Sleep Tees
I’m so obsessed with these. I have about 5 or 6 I rotate through. They’re comfy for sleeping and perfect for throwing on while you get ready post-shower! Plus, they’re long enough that you can wear them sans pants (every girl’s dream, am I right?!). I’m a big fan of these new ones with the Keyhole back. The black one with gold writing I put in the collage is so cute. (MOM, are you reading this?!) The black one with gold writing is SO cute. 😉 :p - Louis Vuitton Neverfull
Whew! Big one, I know. But if you’re looking to go for the gusto, this is the bag. Here’s why: First of all, it’s Louis. I’ve loved Louis Vuitton since I was old enough to know what the LV represented on my mom’s purses! LOL! And even though I use all of my LV bags, the Neverfulls tend to be my go-tos. They’re so roomy and come with a clutch. That in itself is a blessing. I personally prefer the GM size (PM is smallest, MM is medium, GM is largest), but some people feel it’s too big. I’ll tell you this; I can never have a big enough bag! This bag is also perfect for traveling. For reference, I can fit my laptop, iPad, Beats (in their case), and my other cosmetic pouches and items with room to spare when flying. I like the white and grey/blue checkered print (Damier Azur) for spring/summer and the brown checkered print (Damier Ebene) for fall/winter. All of my other LV bags are Monogram print. It’s classic and it used to be my only choice. If you’re buying your first bag, I’d have to suggest the mMonogram print; however, the Damier prints have come to be a new face of LV and are loved by many (including me now)! If you’re looking to go big on gifting, this is your item.
