Christmas Cards & Blogmas Cheer

Our 2017 Christmas Card. This one is my favorite of any Christmas card yet because it includes our newest family member– 8 month old Charlie girl. You can read about bringing her home here.

Something that makes my life a little easier at Christmastime is the Kasa app. I have my Christmas lights plugged in to a TP-Link Smart Plug. This enables me to turn the lights on and off from my phone without climbing behind the tree every time!

My favorite part of this picture, second only to my gold glitter stockings, is what is currently on TV. LOL!! Anyway, these stockings come in silver, gold, and rose gold!

I always have a different candle burning. I love to have one nearby while I work on checking papers/writing lessons at night.

My Uncle Joe and Aunt Jane from Florida have been getting Kaitlyn (my sister) and me Lenox ornaments for Christmas every year since we were little. My mom always said one day I would have a beautiful tree. It always seemed so far away… and now I do. Love these beautiful ornaments. Thank you guys!! xoxo

My mom got me the Lenox tree that actually has little ornaments (love this) and the LED Lenox snowman!

I made my mantle garland by hot gluing different glitzy pieces together and stringing lights throughout last year!

This year’s new addition. I’ve been looking for the perfect gold stockings for 2 years. Mission accomplished and I’m obsessed!

Charlie has been obsessed with the Christmas Tree since day 1. She doesn’t really bother it or anything! She just likes to look at it and sit/lay under it!

She also enjoys other Christmas trees as well! Here she is under her cousins’ (Gregory and Brianna’s) Christmas tree!!

Hidden on the side/back of my tree (since it doesn’t match the tree) is the most important ornament of them all– BB-8!! All of my friends know that he is my favorite. I can’t wait to see The Last Jedi this weekend!! 🙂

Merry Blogmas from Adventure á la Mode! I’ve been wanting to do a post on Christmastime at my house and I finally got around to uploading all the photos. Our Christmas cards were my favorite yet– this is most likely because of my beloved little Charlie girl. She makes everything better!! She is so much fun and it’s so nice to come home to her love every day! My aunt and the kids got her the cutest little PJs from Justice (one of Brianna’s favorite stores) and though she wasn’t a huge fan of the antlers (hood), she did leave it on long enough for me to get one silly pic (see above for a good laugh at her little face).

I’ve always loved decorating for Christmas. Even when I was younger and lived at home, I would love to put the lights and ornaments on our tree (with Christmas music playing) and make it look as pretty as possible! My mom had an all gold tree and she always said she wanted “a lot of lights.” I always try to make mine look just as beautiful as my parent’s!
