So, Erin really hooked me up for my birthday this year. I have been so super jealous of the amazing speciality coffees she’s been whipping up with her Ninja! But I love my Keurig 2.0 that I bought about a year ago– and truth be told, if I add another coffee bar item to our counte, my husband just might kill me. So, Erin got me an amazing milk frother and a pitcher for it! When the school district I teach for had an unexpected 2-hour delay and major snow accumulation this morning, I opened up the boxes and went to town making my first specialty coffee with my new gadgets.
I couldn’t believe how awesome it turned out! And I can still use all my favorite k-cups! My favorites currently are Creme Brulee and Mudslide! For me, having a coffee-maker I already love, it would be a bit silly to invest in an entirely new one. These added accessories are exactly what I needed to make different types of coffee and use the materials I already have in my home. Erin found both of these items on Amazon. You can get them both for under $25!
The milk frother itself is called the Bean Envy Electric Handheld Milk Frother. It’s sleek in appearance, doesn’t have any cords or wires (requires 2 AA batteries), and comes with a stand for easy access on your counter. The pitcher Erin got for me that I frothed the milk in before adding to my coffee is the Utopia Stainless Steel Milk Frothing Pitcher. After using this, I’m thinking maybe I’ll eventually get good enough to make some latte art in my coffee cup, like the pretty ones you get at little hometown coffee shops. High hopes, I know, but creativity and perseverance are strong with this one. Don’t count me out! lol!
I wanted to share these items with you this morning because I am sure many of you, like me, have a coffee maker you already love. Instead of putting out $100+ for a new coffee-maker, maybe you just need some accessories to enhance your current coffee routine! Happy Monday! Hope it’s a great one!
xo,
Ashley
