A little over 3 years ago, my husband and I decided that we would take the next step in our marriage by starting a family. Not quite ready for dirty diapers and losing sleep for the next few years, we decided that a puppy would be a perfect fit for us. Stella came home with us the week of Thanksgiving 2014. She’s 3 now, rotten to the core, and so smart, she literally knows how to play dumb. She’s our baby and I can honestly say I am OBSESSED with her.
It didn’t take long for the love of a fur child to rub off on Ashley and her husband. In May of 2017 Charlie Bella joined the family. Ash is equally as obsessed with her fur baby as I am!
As time went on, Ashley and I started discovering new things for our babies. From dog food and treats, to toys, and some clothing and accessories (for both our dogs and us of course), we have found some of the best (and most reasonable) items for our babies!
In honor of #LoveYourPetDay, I have put together some of our favorite things so that you can also take advantage of what we have already discovered!
1. Chewy.com: Ashley’s aunt shared the website with her and talked about how wonderful it was. It didn’t take long for me to jump on the bandwagon. I was also able to purchase a better dog food for Stella that was the same price as the dog food I was getting for her at the pet store. I chose the auto ship option which also saves 20% and it only takes 1-2 days to arrive. I never have to pack a 40-pound bag of dog food from the pet store again! They always have really great deals on toys and treats as well! So now I have completely said goodbye to all of the pet supply stores and I stay home and cuddle with Stella instead! Ashley orders Charlie’s dog food, elk antlers, stuffed toys, Benebones, etc. and they arrive at your door sometimes the very next day. They have EVERYTHING! Free shipping over $50 too! We both got our dogs the hide and play toys too! You can buy different animal sets, but both of our girls have the log with the squirrels hiding inside they have to find and take out!
PS. Elk antlers have been THE BEST thing for our dogs. They’re super safe and last forever. They spend hours chewing on them. You can get them at chewy.com, Amazon, or your local pet store.
2. Etsy stores: You can find so many cute things on Etsy! Ashley has made a few purchases like name tags for Charlie or matching bracelets for us to wear with our girls’ names engraved in them! I also found BFF charms shaped like a bone and Charlie and Stella wear them proudly on their collars!
3. Puppies Make Me Happy: I’m obsessed with this online store. They have so many cute shirts, tanks, hoodies, and customized leggings that you can put your fur babies face on! I begged for one of these shirts for Christmas. The material is great quality and very soft. The company helps rescue dogs so anyway that I can help out another fur friend, I will. Stella was excited on Christmas morning when I opened my shirt because a bright yellow tennis ball was sent for her to play with!
4. Friendship Collar: You probably see the ads for these collars on Facebook and Instagram. I was so curious and very interested in them as I scrolled through all the choices. For $30 one can purchase a collar for their pup and get a matching bracelet. Stella and I are supporting a teal green option. They are 100% vegan and very sturdy. We absolutely love them. <3
5. Chewy Vuittons from Haute Diggity Dog: An accessory that only the most stylish of dogs can carry. Ashley is constantly buying Charlie girl different purses for each season and Charlie loves them! It really is the most adorable thing to watch a pup carry a purse! Charlie even has pUGG boots, and a Chewlulemon bag too!
6. The Playpen: If you have a smaller dog or a puppy, you may be interested in this item. Ashley used it in her house before Charlie girl was granted free roam. She also used it at all over her church softball games so Charlie could tag along with the team and hang out in the shade of her playpen!
7. Meds: Ashley gets Charlie’s HeartGard and NexGard from Drs. Foster and Smith! They are an online company that calls your vet to verify the prescription and sends you the meds for your pup. You can order them monthly or get 6-month supplies! The best part is that it is wayyy less expensive than what they charge at the vet. And you can choose to autoship and get gift certificates. She also got Charlie’s personalized “beanbag” from that store. It’s really just full of fluff, no beans. Charlie thinks it’s her couch. hahaha!
Are we forgetting any good ones? Any fun/useful items to share with us? Let us know in the comment section! Give your pup some love today! <3

Love all these things above. In addition I love the MollyMutt dog beds. You fill them with your own pillows and a shirt that smells like you for comfort. Super easy to clean and indestructible! My dogs have torn up so many beds digging in them. These ones are perfection. The price is really afforafable too!
