A friend of mine, Mary, is a stylist for Stitch Fix. Mary is very fashionable and always looks amazing– even as a mommy of 2. We talked a few months ago about her fun job and she offered me a $25 credit (styling fee waived) to sign up for my first Fix. I could even request her as my stylist. It took me a while, but I finally decided to go for it last week.
I answered quite a few questions about myself– size, style, and different preferences. I was even shown a variety of outfits and rated my favorites. The whole process was actually kind of fun and got me excited for my first Fix.
Mary and I discussed the process and what would happen when I received the items. She explained she would pick five items just for me from the newest inventory. All of the items would be good quality and by well-known and popular brands. From what I received, I would be able to try on and decide for myself. Let’s be honest, we know best when we try on!
A few days later, a pretty box arrived on my doorstep. It was here! I couldn’t wait to dive in and see the five items Mary had picked just for me. She obviously did an amazing job and inside that box, I found the best jeans I’ve ever put on my body– along with other beautiful pieces.
My favorite of all five items was the pair of Liverpool Elizabeth Skinny Jeans. This Liverpool pair is similar ( but a slightly different style) if you’re looking to fall in love with a pair of jeans. I also adored the Pink Clover Denver Front-Twist Scoop Neck Knit top she sent! It’s the outfit I’m wearing in the photo above at the coffee shop. I paired it with my rose gold International Concepts shoes (not from Stitch Fix) for a dinner date this evening.
She also sent an adorable kelly green Electo Halter top that looks so cute with the Liverpool jeans and a cardi! For my upcoming Disney trip, Mary sent me a cute pair of Just Black cutoff denim shorts to pair with the Kaleigh cold-shoulder blouse (lemon print and perfect for enjoying Dole Whip at Disney World)!
With my items came return packaging with a pre-paid label for exchanges and returns. I was able to “checkout” on the website and mark each item as “keep,” “exchange,” or “return.” I also could go into great detail about why I liked or disliked an item and what exactly made it the perfect fit or not a good fit for me (waist, thighs, length, etc.). I was not charged for the items unless I decided to purchase them via “check out.”
As you can probably tell, I love my Stitch Fix items. Mary did an amazing job styling for me! The awesome part is that you can waive the $25 styling fee too!! Just use this link. Sooo, what have you got to lose? You can literally send back every item if you don’t like any of the 5 selected for you! Only buy what you want to keep and shipping and returns are free. Shopping for the busy/working girl– solved.
Give it a shot. 😉 And if you’d like to request Mary Tressler as your personal stylist too, just enter it in the comments section of your personalization survey.
Get your Fix, babe. You’re going to be glad you did.
xo,
Ashley
