Nordstrom Anniversary Sale goes live for non-cardholders tomorrow, July 19th, at 12:30PM!! That means some restocks and returns are going to be showing up…
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is the only time that I feel absolutely 0 buyer’s remorse. None. Zilch. Do you know why? Because every year, the items I get are worn 24/7. I always find the BEST stuff during this sale and I wear it all throughout the year. I also can gain double the points on my Nordy card if I choose the day as a double points day!
I decided to do this try-on because the NSale goes live tomorrow (Friday, July 19th) for non-cardholders. I noticed in the past that they do sometimes restock a few items for this second part of the sale. I went online shopping the moment the NSale went live that morning for cardholders (one week ago). Since Nordstrom provides free shipping and returns, I don’t feel bad ordering a bunch of options (different items, colors, sizes, etc.) because I can send back all the things I don’t want! Getting ahold of them later is always the challenging part, but rest assured– it is possible. How do I know? Because there are people like me that buy up all the sizes and colors and then return. That’s how I’ve gotten ahold of some of my favorite items in the past– from other people’s returns.
Some of the items I’m wearing are from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2 years ago before I was a cardholder. And some are such classics that they’re still available this year!! Get yourself prepared with what to look for by scrolling through this post…
Free People Citrine Cotton Top: LOVE Free People thermals, but never buy them at full price because they’re SO expensive. Decided on the blush/violet colored one and I love it. Size down one size. Wearing size small. Wishing I would’ve got a second one, so I’m watching for them to come back in stock.
AG The Farrah High Waist Ankle Skinny Jeans: My favorite jeans in my closet. I wear them 24/7.
Steve Madden Trace Studded Mule: (LAST YEAR’S ITEM. SOLD OUT). These are from last year, but a pair of my absolute favorite shoes!
BP V-Neck Cozy Long Sleeve Sweater: I actually got this top 2 years ago from Nordstrom and it’s one of my all-time favorites. I wear it quite often in the fall and winter. They bring it back every year. If you can get your hands on one, do it!
AG The Farrah High Waist Ankle Skinny Jeans: My favorite jeans in my closet. I wear them 24/7.
Halogen Rowen Booties: Snakeskin was my first choice. TTS. Comfortable and stylish!
BP Linen Blend Camisole: Love this by itself and with a sweater. It’s now available at Nordstrom Rack for $9.97.
Halogen Rowen Booties: Cognac goes well with so many of my clothes! These are going to get worn a lot to work this year– and on the weekends. Love a shoe that can do both.
*My shorts are from my awesome StitchFix stylist, Mary. When I told her I needed some new good quality shorts for the summer, she hooked a girl up with the best (they’re always good brands that you find at Nordstrom and other department/designer stores).
Gibson Cozy Twist Front Pullover: Give me all the twist fronts, tie fronts, knot fronts, etc.!! This one fits like a dream. Debating on whether or not to get another color… What do you think?
Zella Live-In High-Waisted Leggings: Erin and I have tons of these, so neither of us needed another pair this year. (We’ve been wearing these for the past few years and they’re right up there with Lululemon quality.) The rumor is that this year’s version has pockets. So if you’re into that sorta thing, you just might love them even more than usual.
BP Leopard Crop Hoodie: I’m not a huge fan of crop tops, but I’ll rock them with a high-waisted legging occasionally. I saw a lot of the bloggers I follow wearing this one and I thought it looked super cute. Luckily, I read what they had to say and knew to SIZE UP. Most said it was really short and they went up one OR two sizes. One of my favorite bloggers who is usually a size small got a large, so I went with the XL. It is a BIT oversized, but my belly isn’t showing and it’s SUPER comfy. I did not get the matching joggers like most of the bloggers I follow did because I like it better with black high-waisted leggings! This was another item that sold out FAST, but it looks like some returns are flowing back in.

Cardigan sweater from Amazon– linked in this post.
BP Lace Trim Cami (NSale Price: $25.90 / Regular Price: $39.00): This is another items that sold out and caused me to wait until the following year. I got it in leopard this year, but the cream one was sold out before I got to it.
Steve Madden Leopard Loafers: Got these last year. They’re not part of the NSale, but are still available this year for under $100
Dreamers by Debut Open-Knit Cardigan: (LAST YEAR’S ITEM. SOLD OUT). This is one of those items I tried and tried for last year, but ended up not getting one until weeks later when someone returned one in my size.
Halogen Lace Detail Cami: Got this during last year’s NSale. It did not go on sale this year, but it’s still in stock.

Steve Madden Feather Studded Loafer (in Tan Snakeskin): Love these! TTS. Can’t wait to wear them all the time!
BP Long Leopard Jacquard Cardigan (NSale Price: $49.90 / Regular Price: $69.00): This cardigan right here always seems to be the hottest NSale item. I wanted it so bad the past 2 years and I finally snagged one after an online return was made a few weeks after last year’s NSale. May the force be with you on finding this one.

My favorite of all the outfits…
If you saw our quote on Instagram the other day, it said something like: “The fact that I have more clothes to lounge in sleep in than anything else says a lot about me as a person.”
Welp, that’s me. I love nice clothes, but I also love leggings and sweats and a comfy tee or sweatshirt! Cue, this perfect outfit right here.
BP Sleepy Lounge Tee: Not going to lie.. I bought this is FIVE colors and I’ve already worn and washed four. *Shrug* BEST LOUNGE TEE EVER. It’s right up there with that Amazon one I told you about and you all loved, but more “loungey” and comfortable– oh, and less expensive too. Score. In the words of my friend Mary, it’s one of those shirts that allow you to look semi-decent when you have pizza delivered. LOL!
BP Cozy Joggers: Formally not a “joggers kinda girl”, currently a definite “joggers kinda girl.” I’m waiting for my husband to say, “You’re wearing those pants again?” But he hasn’t yet. I love them so much that I just ordered them in dark grey too. Best part is that I used a Nordstrom Note on both pairs, so I got them for like $6 a piece! It pays to use your Nordstrom card.
Items that didn't arrive yet
Coudln’t try these ones on for you because they’re not here yet!
Vince Camuto Bootie Sandals: Oh, Vince. He’s my go-to for work because these shoes are literally more comfortable than flats. I have them in older styles too, but they’re basically the same. I got them in grey because I had been wanting a gray pair alllll last year, but didn’t want to pay over $100– even though they are totally worth it.
BP Boldstripe Cardigan: I’m not sure how I’ll like it on, but it’s bright and different so I’m giving it a go! Could be cute for work too!
BP Cozy Shorts: If these are anything like the BP joggers, I’m already in love. I’m a sucker for a good pair of shorts. Don’t let me down, BP. Jk, you rarely do.
BP V-Neck Tee: Unusual for BP, but this was wayyy shorter than expected. I had to send it back for the next size up. We will see how that fits. I’m hoping it still doesn’t look short, but maybe that is the fit of this shirt. If you’re going to give it a try, size up for sure!!!
xo,
Ash
PS. If you noticed things look different around here, we updated our blog this week! We hope you love it as much as we do. <3
