Disclosure: This is an honest review of StitchFix Style Pass. I do not receive this service for free; however, I may be compensated for my endorsements of StitchFix products.
What is Stitch Fix?
Stitch Fix is an online styling service and personalized shopping experience. It’s having a personal stylist without the prerequisite of being rich & famous (lol). If you’re into fashion–clothes, shoes, & jewelry– keep reading.
Not going to lie to you. I turned my nose up to Stitch Fix when I first heard about it. “I don’t need a stylist. I style myself.” Then, I became friends with an actual stylist for Stitch Fix and she talked to me about what happens when you schedule a Fix. I realized it was super convenient and with the discount code she gave me, worth it.
So, I tried it– and I wrote about my reaction to my first Fix here. It’s $25 to get a Stitch Fix box (styling fee), but then that $25 is applied to any items that you keep. You are sent 5 items and you can choose to keep, return, or exchange for a different size. You only pay for what you decide to keep and you return what you don’t want with the included USPS envelope that has a pre-paid label. It’s like going shopping and trying on items in the dressing room, but the dressing room is your house. With the $25 credit code my friend Mary gave me, the styling fee was basically waved if I decided not to keep anything, so it was a no-brainer for me to at least try it. Since I did decide to keep items, the $25 was applied to my purchases! AND if you ever keep all 5 items, you get 25% off!
Your stylist chooses items for you based on your style profile, Pinterest boards, and other information you provide (in notes or when you write comments on previous items sent). If you don’t like what your stylist is choosing, you can even request another for your next Fix. I just happen to love mine. ♡
Oh, and right now, probably because I’ve done quite a few Fixes (lol), I have a $50 credit for any of our followers that decide to try Stitch Fix for the first time!! Just click the pink link and it will apply it to your account.
Yes. This means $50 of free clothing. Even if you don’t keep anything in your first box, it’s $50 off the next one, or the next one after that!
So, What is Style Pass?
After I did a few Stitch Fix boxes, I received the coveted “invitation” to join Style Pass!! I was pumped. I had read about it and how it was “exclusive” and by “invitation only,” so of course, I wanted to join, but never got invited. 🙁 THEN, it arrived in my e-mail inbox a few months after initially joining Stitch Fix and making some purchases!
It’s a $49 styling fee for the year! And that $49 goes to any of your purchases! You can do as many Fixes as you’d like because with Style Pass, they’re unlimited! That means you can get a Fix and send all 5 items back if you wanted and you still pay nothing! Shipping and returns are always free.
If you do get invited to join, I 100% recommend it. Frequent fixes are fun.. especially when there’s no obligation with the styling fee basically being waved once you purchase your first $49 worth of items.
I love Stitch Fix for 3 main reasons:
1. It’s convenient. I get brand new, trendy items delivered to my front door with free shipping and returns.
2. It’s different. Sometimes, my stylist chooses items for me that I may never have chosen myself, but end up loving when I try them on.
3. It’s personalized. I mainly want clothes in my Fixes (I have tons of jewelry and shoes already) and I’m not into certain prints. When I work on my Style Profile, I can specify what I want so that my stylist can tailor my Fix to my needs and preferences. She even checks out my Pinterest boards to see what I’ve been loving lately.
For a rare opportunity of $50 off your first Stitch Fix, click here. For the record, that’s at least a free top or maybe even a pair of jeans… 😉

Ash
