Ashley’s Custom Kit
I have been going light on my foundation ever since quarantine, so I’ve ditched the heavy full-coverage foundations for some tinted moisturizers. I’ve linked my favorite foundations from Tarte in the Shop the Post at the bottom.
For my foundation, I selected the Amazonian Clay Airbrush Foundation, which is like a mineral powder foundation. I’m super excited to try it out since I’ve been loving lightweight coverage.
For my face product, I selected the Amazonian Clay Matte Bronzer, which I’ve gotten in my ipsy bag in the past and LOVED. It’s also waterproof, which is fabulous for summer!
I got the Double Take Liner– something I’ve gotten in my FabFitFun box in the past and loved. It has a regular liner and liquid liner in one, so it’s great.
Recently, in my Sephora mascara sample set, I got to try out Lights, Camera, Lashes 4-in-1 mascara. I loved it so much, that I ended up using it more than all of the others. I was pumped to see it was an option for this kit!
I’ve never actually tried lipstick or gloss from Tarte before, so I took a leap with the Double Duty Glide & Go Buttery Lipstick. I love how the color provides a little pop!
For the body items, there were so many different options (self-tanner, beauty blenders, brushes, etc.), but I decided on the Foundcealer Brush so I can use it with my new foundation!
And for the make-up bag, of course, I chose the faux snakeskin– one of my favorite prints and color schemes!
Erin’s Custom Kit
I decided to take this opportunity to really try out a few products that I have had my eye on.
During the summer I always choose lightweight foundations so I chose the Amazonian Clay Airbrush Foundation to try. Ashley and I love all of the Amazonian Clay line and we are pretty sure we will love this one, too!
I also got the Hamptons Weekender Contour Palette – I am a sucker for a good summer glow and with the highlights, blush, and matte bronze combo I won’t have to work as hard to get it!
The Double Take eyeliner has been an old favorite of mine so it was only natural to grab it while I had the chance. I use the liquid on my upper lid at my lash line and I use the gel pencil for my water line on my upper lid, which really helps to enhance my mascara.
Speaking of mascara, I took a leap and grabbed the limited-edition Lights, Camera, Lashes 4-in-1 mascara. Ashley raves about the original, so I decided I would give this one. try. I am anxious to see what it can do for my lashes.
The Lip Sculptor lipstick and lipgloss combo in Voltage is a peachy pink lip combo and I can’t wait to get this in. I typically look better in peach tones and light pinks, so I think this is going to be a fantastic lip color on me.
I got the Setting Superpower Powder Brush, it is something that I don’t currently have in my makeup bag and I could really use this tool.
Faux Snakeskin make-up bag was probably the only makeup bag that I personally liked out of the selection. As of lash night when Ashley and I were pre-viewing the Tarte website we didn’t see many bags that really caught our eye. Thankfully, they released new ones today!
