What We Got Each Other for Christmas 2020

Happy New Year’s Eve, friends! Now that Christmas is behind us, we wanted to take some time to unpack and try all of the gifts we got for each other! Every year, we are always the easiest person to shop for on each other’s list. Even though we are opposite in a lot of ways, we are alike in a lot of ways too– and we tend to like to same things! We wanted to share with you our new items because some of them are just too amazing not to!! Ash’s presents from Er had a “self-care” theme, while Erin’s had a “cozy” theme.

Here’s what we got each other for Christmas this year…

1. Barefoot Dreams Blanket: Best. Blanket. Ever. You haven’t slept until you cozied up with this blanket. Erin is obsessed; Ashley did such a great job of choosing one that matches Erin’s living room. It’s not just a cozy blanket, but it also makes a statement on her wing-backed chair!

2. Forever Young Instant Hot & Cold Rejuvenating Facial Wand: Erin got this for Ash and it is the coolest little device ever! It allows you to boost your skin’s absorption of serums, creams, and moisturizers by opening your pores through the wand’s hot setting. Then afterward, with the cold setting, you can shrink your pores to lock in your treatments and tighten your skin, along with reducing/soothing any redness and puffiness. It changes temperatures in just 3 seconds and has a sonic vibration mode for a relaxing facial massage.

3. Surratt Beauty Relevee Eyelash Curler: Erin somehow kept from me what she was using to make her lashes look so amazing for an entire month+. She knew she had one for me for Christmas and knew I would have one on my doorstep the next day if she let it slip. First of all, this is NOT your average eyelash curler. It is well worth the price! I don’t typically use one because my lashes are fairly long and I’ve always liked them better “uncurled–” until THIS. It LIFTS my lashes like no other lash curler and has them almost touching my brows!! See above for my first time using it! I use mine before mascara, but Erin uses hers after. You can do it either way!

4. Little Words Project Beaded Stretch Bracelets: We both have “Soul Sister” and Ash got Erin the “Mama” bracelet too! We love that letter bracelets are making a comeback! They’re so 90s yet also have a chic and sparkly look to them! They make a great gift and they have lots of other words too!

5. Aira Ionic Facial Steamer: Want an at-home facial/spa day with the touch of a button? You need this! Erin got one for me and one for herself. Using distilled water, you can give yourself a professional-quality detox facial! It’s like relaxing in a mini sauna while your skin is detoxed of impurities and dead skin cells. It helps clarify your complexion, hydrates and softens the skin, and makes skin more receptive to skincare treatments and serums. You can also add essential oils (if you’re into that) to the included oil baskets for a more therapeutic experience.

6. Kitsch Towel Scrunchies: These are AMAZING. Erin knows how I hate to spend so much time drying my hair, so she got me these towel scrunchies. After I get out of the shower, I throw my hair up in a messy bun with one of these while I do my make-up and it soaks in so much of the water. It cuts down on my dry time and the length of time I’m applying heat to my hair!

7. Bath & Body Works 3-Wick Candles: Ash got Erin some of her favorite Christmas candles! The linked 3-wick candles are currently 50% off at Bath & Body Works!

8. Kopari Coconut Oil Sudsy Shower Oil: Erin saw this on a blogger’s page and got some for Ashley. It’s very popular and available at Sephora, Nordstrom, and Amazon. It’s seriously luxurious-feeling body wash. It is great to apply on your legs prior to shaving, as it left Ashley’s skin feeling sooo soft and smooth after shaving. Overall, it made her dry winter skin feel more nourished and also, left her skin smelling amazinggg!

9. Barefoot Dreams In the Wild Socks They really are just as amazing as the blanket! Ashley got these for Erin. She is absolutely in love with them and wears them as frequently as she can! Even after washing, they hold their shape and they’re us as soft as the first time she put them on!

10. BP Sophie Criss-Cross Bedroom Slippers Of course we have matching slippers! These designer inspired slipper and we are here for them! We do recommend you size up from what you typically wear!

11. Scalp Massager Shampoo Brush & 12. Scalp Hair Care Mask: Erin is the best at going long periods of time between hair washes. Ashley– not so much. She washes her hair every day; sometimes if she is lucky, she can go every other. Erin got these two products for her to help her out with that! The peppermint oil mask helps reduce oil production. It leaves the scalp feeling cool and really clean! The massager/shampoo brush not only feels amazing, but is also great for helping promote faster hair growth for a quick route to even longer locks! Ashley used it for both shampooing and for applying the peppermint oil mask and loved it!

13. JavaSok: It never fails that we get each other something that is the same. It’s quite funny actually! You know we are total coffee lovers, so when we stumbled across the JavaSok, we just had to get them for each other! We love them. When we were in New England, they would put a foam cup over our iced coffee cups in order to carry them around. We love the idea of dressing up our coffees, while keeping it cold and not getting condensation all over our work areas!
